Malay Dance CCA aspires to groom dancers who are passionate and will be able to:
-
immerse themselves in the Malay culture, customs and traditions through traditional Malay Dance
-
learn and execute Malay Dance steps from the various genres: Asli, Inang, Joget, Masri and Zapin
-
gain exposure in the local Malay Dance Performing Arts scene
-
develop and demonstrate the school values through various experiences e.g. roles and responsibilities
-
build self-confidence as a performer through involvement in various school and external performances
-
be instilled with a deep passion and appreciation for the performing arts
-
play a part in igniting the passion and ensuring the preservation of traditional Malay Dance
