Experiential Learning Week (ELW)
Experiential Learning Week (ELW)
The Experiential Learning Week (ELW) provides our students with engaging and meaningful real-life learning experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. During this period, regular curriculum lessons are temporarily suspended as students participate in a range of carefully curated programmes and hands-on activities designed to ignite curiosity and deepen learning through authentic experiences.
Anchored on the development of E21CC competencies, ELW aims to nurture essential 21st century skills such as communication skills, collaboration skills, critical thinking, adaptive thinking, inventive thinking and cross-cultural literacy. Through meaningful tasks and immersive experiences, students are given opportunities to apply what they have learnt in authentic contexts while exploring different learning environments and approaches beyond textbooks and the traditional classroom setting.
ELW also provides opportunities for students to reflect on their learning and demonstrate our school values through their actions and interactions. These enriching experiences make learning engaging and enjoyable, while nurturing confident, resilient and future-ready learners.
