Developing Enhanced 21st Century Competencies

Anchored on strong character education, the school places emphasis on the development of 21st Century Competencies (21CC) to prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing, digital and interconnected world.

These competencies enable students to develop the skills, knowledge and dispositions required to thrive in future learning, work and life contexts. The 21CC framework focuses on:

• Critical, Adaptive and Inventive Thinking

• Communication, Collaboration and Information Skills

• Civic, Global and Cross-Cultural Literacy

As the school embarks on the implementation of 21CC, these competencies are embedded across students’ whole-school experiences during curriculum lessons, Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs), and cohort-level programmes. Through a coherent and sustained approach, the school aims to nurture confident, future-ready learners who are grounded in values and equipped to contribute meaningfully to society.
