Chess Club CCA aims to nurture confident and thoughtful young chess players who will develop strategic thinking, logical reasoning, and perseverance through the game of chess. Through engaging training sessions, friendly games, and competitions, students will learn to analyse situations carefully, plan ahead and make informed decisions.
Beyond mastering chess skills and strategies, the club also seeks to cultivate important values such as patience, resilience, sportsmanship, and respect for others. By providing opportunities for teamwork, problem-solving, and healthy competition, Chess Club hopes to equip students with critical thinking skills and confidence that will help them thrive in the ever-changing VUCA world.
